NOTICE: Yardwaste Collection Begins The Week Of March 31st, 2008
Regular yardwaste collection begins the week of March 31st, 2008.
All Items must be placed curbside.
Yard Waste must be bagged using a Metro Waste Authority Compost-It Bag or a brown kraft paper yard waste bag with a Metro Waste Authority Compost-It sticker attached.
Bags and stickers are available at Dahl's and Hy-Vee. Bundles must be cut to 4' length and should weigh no more than 40 lbs.

Altoona -Fall Clean Up - October 18th, 2008
Windsor Heights - Thursday, May 15th and Friday, May 16th (Trash Only)
Polk City - Saturday, April 19th, 2008
Urbandale - Week of April 21st, 2008
Clive - Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 (East of the interstate) and Saturday, May 10th, 2008 (West of the interstate)

April 17th and 18th and October 9th and 10th
West Des Moines - Your Spring clean up day will be based upon your collection day of the week.
If your collection day is Monday, your spring clean up day will be Monday, March 24th 2008
If your collection day is Tuesday, your spring clean up day will be Tuesday, March 25th 2008
If your collection day is Wednesday, your spring clean up day will be Thursday, March 27, 2008
If your collection day is Thursday, your spring clean up day will be Monday, March 31st, 2008
If your collection day is Friday, your spring clean up day will be Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008
Johnston - Monday May 12th and Tuesday May 13th
